Toronto, February 9, 2007 – Avotus Corporation, the leading provider of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and eProcurement solutions announced that Richard S. Garnick has joined the Board of Directors as executive chairman.

Mr. Garnick is a proven global executive and has demonstrated achievements in high-tech, IT/software services, business process outsourcing (BPO), global service delivery models, e-commerce and telecommunications industries.

He was most recently a senior executive of Keane Inc., prior to that he was chief executive Americas & EAS for Wipro Technologies where he helped build one of the leading global IT/BPO businesses out of India. During his tenure at Wipro the company grew dramatically in revenue, profits, capabilities and market presence. Global revenue grew from $300M to over $2B and the number of employees increased from 5,500 employees to over 50,000.

Over the last 20 plus years he has held leadership positions at Global Digital Media, Avnet, Arrow Electronics, Innovoice and Texas Instruments. He also sits on the Boards of several other high tech organizations.
